The herd of the Brivio brothers, in Maresso di Missaglia (Lecco), is plunged in the green hills of Brianza, north of Milan. Their Brown Swiss cows were replaced by Holstein Friesians at the beginning of the 70s.

In 1981, the Brivios started a strong genetic selection program by using the best international sires. In the past ten years such a program has been further enhanced by an intense use of ET carried out on the best cows in the herd but also on animals purchased from the best cow families in North America and Europe.

Thanks to their ET program, in the past years the Brivios were able to merchandise their genetics all over Europe. To continue with their tradition as exporters of Holstein genetics , the Brivio herd is proud to present here some of its best animals.
